First Gordian Knot

This was a class I took at Eddie's Quilting Bee. Love the pattern and the instructor but she had no written instructions for us. This gave me a great opportunity to create a book/pattern for this and also led way to me teaching quilting. The pattern is closely related to a log cabin. With a few simple twists, and a focus on primary values, this quilt is great for beginners who want to make something that looks more advanced. Pieced and top quilted by me - using stitch in the ditch and tracing powder for the rope border.
