Mimmys Quilt

A Timeless heirloom from pre-1950

This is an heirloom quilt made by Tom Mitchells grandmother, Mimmy Mitchell. It was never completed into a bound quilt all these years. In 2021, Fred will finish the border, machine quilt and bind it. In her day, she probably would have to hand quilt this together - but if she had access to todays long arms, the Mitchell family thinks she would have chosen the long arm - to save time for her to do other things to take care of the family. To that end, we will use the long arm.
