Back to the Quiltaceous!
I know we are not supposed to have favorites when creating quilts - I mean they are all supposed to be our favorite, right? Well . . . . if I was forced to choose one, this one would bubble to the top, or at least tied for first with a few other quilts I have made. Made for Abby Golden, first child of good friends Tom and Marcy Golden, this stack n whack is a quilt I never get bored at looking at. Yes it’s a children's fabric and yes the colors are a bit bright. But it was really fun to choose the fabric, really fun to quilt and really fun to gift to our little niece. At the time I write this in 2021, Abby is now off to college at Michigan State. Where has the time gone?
