Nine Sisters

A Jelly Roll Adventure

I started this quilt in 2021 but family events in late 2021 had me put my hobbies on hold for awhile. It is fitting that I finished this quilt a year to the day when I stopped. I am using a pattern by Cozy Quilts down in San Diego by Daniella Stout and her team. It's called Nine Sisters and it gave me a hit of the southwest and Aztec eagles. The fabric I chose was Robert Kaufman's In The Beginning line called Inspired By Nature - all batiks. I am a sucker for batiks - so much so that I bought TWO jelly rolls of this collection - I mean, they could run out, right? better to be safe I always say. I also bought some yardage as well - just in case. Yes fabric shopping qualifies as a sickness in some cases LOL. I believe my sister will be very happy with this one. Many of the fabrics compliment other color choices in her life and well, she loves fabric too!
