Paying homage to my sci fi geeky nerdy self, this is one of my favorite sampler quilts. Inspired by Laura Coia of Sew Very Easy, who sent me to QuiltingConfections.Com for their Shades of Gray pattern, it was hard not to fall in love with this one. To make it my own, I took half the blocks and created my own patterns. Which also gave me another reason to use my favorite templates from Marti Michell. Check out the surprise cameo appearances in a few of the blocks. Just how do cats get into outer space anyways?
